We’ve seen cheese cakes and faux cakes but a burger cake? it’s a new one for me. The massive burger was half a metre wide and weighed the eqivalent of 100 quarter pounders. It was created for Norfolk newlyweds Tom and Kerry Watts by chefs from Zaks at The Swan in Norfolk.
What about the garnish, you ask? It took a mere 12 iceberg lettuces, 12 onions, 30 tomatoes, 48 slices of dill pickle, 2kgs of cheese and was finished off with lashings of tomato ketchup and mayonnaise stuffed into a 5kg seeded bun which was then served to 60 guests.
