Lost In Music: The First Dance # 72

By admin on November 12th, 2008 0 comments yet. Be the First

e17526ob6df.jpgDespite being frequently sung by men, I think quite a lot of first dance songs apply more to the bride than the groom. I wouldn’t say that about How Can I Tell You by Cat Stevens. It captures so well the difficulty some men have in getting their feelings across, which is perfect for the wedding day (when, you know, they should really be doing their best to tell you how they feel!).

It begins:

How can I tell you that I love you, I love you
But I cant think of right words to say
I long to tell you that Im always thinking of you
Im always thinking of you, but my words
Just blow away, just blow away

Find it on his album, The Very Best of Cat Stevens.

Originality: 9
