Yorkshire brides have a 19th century landmark on their doorstep with the Black Swan Hotel, located in Helmsley on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Fully licenced for civil marriages and partnerships, they can host weddings for up to 90 guests during the day and 140 in the evening.

Various wedding packages are available and they tell me that necessities like table cloths and place cards are included plus all wedding packages include a drinks reception on arrival, complimentary room hire for the wedding breakfast, a half bottle of house wine per person with lunch and a glass of champagne to toast the newlyweds.
