Personally, I’m a fan of monogramming everything in sight. Especially when it comes to weddings. So I am particularly enamored of this custom wedding dress label by Garter Maker.
The tradition comes from 1920s and ’30s when couture designers created similar labels for their clients with her full maiden name on it – symbolizing the last time she would use the name. In blue, it fulfills her “something blue” requirement.
Mrs. Sea Breeze over at WeddingBee had this baby sewn into her gown for only $15, and I think that’s a bargain no matter what her Mr. Breezy says. Click on the link above for pictures of her beautiful dress, purple shoe porn and a very unique monogram placement!
