1950s-wedding-dress2.jpg’50s wedding dresses are hugely popular at the moment and their ultra feminine silhouettes are a clear influence in many designers’ current collections.

If this is a style you like, why not cut to the chase and buy vintage? I spotted this fine specimen over at Love Miss Daisy, which stocks a steady stream of high quality second-hand wedding gowns from the 50s right through to the 80s. It’s a voluminous, princess-style dress with a stunning illusion lace neckline over a sweetheart style lining. One of the most striking features of the dress is its train, which is neatly pinned into an adorable bow. See over the jump for a back view.
