What to pack for laid-back honeymoon lounging

honeymoon-loungewear.jpgA friend of mine recently jetted off on a three week honeymoon, having reserved the entire first week for the sole purpose of chilling out, lounging and generally doing as little as possible. Just imagine that! A week of pure indulgence, with nothing to worry about beyond when your next glass of champagne is going to arrive. Just what you need after months of planning.

I thought about this idea of a ‘lazy break’ when I found out about a company called Lazeme that specialise in luxury sleepwear, beachwear and everything else you need for a relaxing break. There’s some wonderful stuff here that’s perfect for those times when you just want to pamper yourself, but unlike the usual pjs and t-shirt combo, will make you feel glamorous, too.

Read on for more info on the items I’ve picked out.

Towelling bathrobes and slippers are a must for successful lounging – if you’re going somewhere that won’t provide them, don’t forget to pack your his-and-hers robes!

Sarong. If you’re off somewhere hot, you’ll live in one of these, so I’d pack two or more for really effortless dressing. This one’s particularly cheery, and is available here for £15.

A kimono is the best way to combine elegance and comfort. This one’s made from pure silk, and available here for £99.

Slouch bag. You’ll want something you can just shove your norvel, purse and shades in and go – but you don’t have to feel like a bag lady. This one is £38 and will take all your essentials in style.

Scented candles will really help you chill out if you’ve got room to pack them! This set come in a handy travel box and cost £35 here
