Although we’ve been celebrating the more positive aspects of high fashion and its influence on bridalwear today, there’s no denying that when it gets it wrong, it gets it so extravagantly wrong. And here comes our old friend Ian Stuart with something that’s excessive in all the wrong ways.

The dress, shown recently at Sposa Italia in Milan, has a certain orthopedic quality to it that is not in any way aided by the bows that look to me a bit like Christmas tree decorations. What do you think?
