If you’ve chosen your winter wedding date and thought about your venue and decoration (we think silver and icy whites are a perfect colour choice here) then you’ll probably also be thinking about your wedding dress. So where better to begin than with this year’s autumn 2009/ spring 2010 wedding dress trends.
According to the experts over at fashion blog WWD, there’s a range of different looks to pick from this season.
If you want something tight and figure hugging then you’ll be pleased to know that this is very popular this season with a range of designers including Vera Wang, Monique L’huillier, Claire Pettibone and Nicole Miller showing off body-skimming silhouettes.
Reem Acra, known for her off the wall bridal fashions, opted for ruching, rosettes and layered tulle.
And there’s also good news for brides who want a bit more warmth on their wedding day as it seems sleeves may also soon be making a comeback.
After she was asked if sleeves would be coming back, Vera Wang told the New York Times: “Nothing would make me happier. I’ve been doing strapless dresses for 15 years. It’s tiring.”
