This year white wedding style dresses have become a big hit on the red carpet with many celebrities opting for these at awards evenings and last night’s Bafta awards were no different.
The look amongst the A-listers has been long and straight with many opting to freeze out the cold with a range of shrugs and boleros.
Yesterday evening Best Supporting Actress nominee Vera Farmiga opted for a bridal-inspired Marchesa dress while Margo Stiley went for a long satin frock complete with a detailed beaded neckline. She also hinted at 50s wedding trends with an off white fur shrug to keep out the cold. Tamsin Egerton, also went for a long white dress complete with on-trend 80s puffed shoulders.
However it wasn’t just long wedding style dresses that hit the red carpet with Twighlight star Kristen Stewart sporting a little white beaded Chanel short frock. Saoirse Ronan also opted for a short white Burberry ruffled dress.
We’ll be bringing you a gallery of all the wedding inspired red carpet styles very soon.
