It seems today is the day for budget bridal ranges. Just seconds after we told you about Asda’s budget bridal range, an email from John Lewis flew into our inboxes, announcing that the department store was also launching its own cheap wedding dress range.

For the first time John Lewis will start stocking the wedding dresses, which include simple floor length dresses, retro cocktail and modern day wraps, and although they aren’t as cheap as Asda‘s we think £350 for a Phase Eight Wedding Dress is not bad at all.

Louise Salt, Online Fashion Buyer at John Lewis, said: “John Lewis is the essential destination for couples planning their big day, but until now been we’ve been unable to secure space in our stores to do a bridal dress range real justice. Our expanded online presence gave us the opportunity to finally offer our customers this new range and put the icing on the cake for our wedding offer.”

The collection is also perfect for brides looking to get married abroad with many of the range designed to be lightweight.
