If we are to believe the buzz, one of the most anticipated royal announcements could be just around the corner – it could even happen before Christmas according to some royalistas.

We’re of course talking about the engagement between Prince William and Kate Middleton, his on/off girlfriend for more than eight years. Speculations that Wills and Kate could soon be making it official grew even stronger when Kate’s parents visited Balmoral some weeks ago – a sign of the Queen’s approval; bookies even predict a wedding for the couple as early as next summer.
