On our daily quest to find the most interesting, beautiful, and covetable items and news from the world of wedding, we were delighted when stumbling across The Vintage Wedding Dress Company.

Set up by stylist Charlie Brear, The Vintage Wedding Dress Company is a treasure chest of enviable and unique wedding dresses and accessories. Working from its central London showroom, Brear set up the company to help brides who wants to wear something original, but hasn’t got the time, energy or idea of where to start. The dresses are sourced Brear herself from London, Paris and the rest of the world, who buys individual pieces that she loves.

With lace being a trend for 2011, we just have to share the stunning Decades Lace collection that starts in the roaring 1920s and ends up in the glam rock – well more the end of the flower child – 1970s. These vintage-inspired dresses, one from each era, is a stunning capsule collection that beautifully captures the details of decades gone by.
