Google is apparently the answer to everything. Just in time for Valentine’s Day the search engine has launched a new site that hopes to help happy couples with their wedding preparations. They must be expecting a lot of engagements to happen – as are we all Google!

The newly launched Google for Weddings will be able to assist inĀ planningĀ almost every aspect of the day, bar the cake tasting and band auditions (perhaps additional features to come??). The service will allow you to design your wedding site, share photos, manage your expenses and track invitations through elements that use Google Docs, Google Sites and Picnik.

Choose one of the 20 wedding templates – especially developed with guidance from a professional wedding planner! – and store your wedding plans in the clouds, so that you can access it whenever, wherever (internet connection required) and share it with your friends and family as you see fit.

Not quite sure you want to use it? Google is holding a wedding sweepstakes for engaged couples with a top prize of $25,000 and a chance to have wedding planner Michelle Rago with wedding planning.
