Official website launches ahead of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Royal Wedding

We all know The Queen is digitally minded, having launched an official Facebook page for The British Monarchy last year; now St. James’s Palace has launched the official website for Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding next month.

The wedding website www.officialroyalwedding2011.org features the latest news, videos and images, details about the service in Westminster Abbey, the Royal Wedding processional route, the reception at Buckingham Palace and of course the Twitter feed from Clarence House – the official hash-tag for the wedding of the year appears to be #rw2011. According to the statement issued by St. James’s Palace the site “will be the first place to view information such as the details of Miss Middleton’s wedding dress.” So they are not taking the route of BT and letting the public vote for the bride’s wedding gown.

The royal website also confirms the bride-to-be royal name change to Catherine.

We’re wondering if the wedding will be streamed live…
