Wedding planning is more stressful than day job

Do you sometimes feel stressed out in your day job and keep day dreaming of pursuing a career in wedding planning? Perhaps you should think again.

Research from BT – which is currently letting its Facebook fans help plan the wedding of Adam and Jane – reveals that nearly four in ten people (38%) think planning a wedding is more stressful than their day job. Of those asked 27% think it’s even more stressful than moving house.

Well brides-to-be, we’re certain you can vouch for this statistic. Planning a wedding can be pretty nerve-wracking. Just thinking about all the details that will make up your perfect day is enough to make any organisation fanatic break out in a sweat.

The research also reveals that the biggest worry for both men and women is to finalise the guest list and work out a seating plan. And, coming as no surprise, brides tend to be more concerned about losing weight ahead of the big day – wedding dresses can be so unforgiving…

If you fancy having a go at planning someone else’s wedding, why not vote for a few details concerning BT’s Adam and Jane’s forthcoming nuptials on www.facebook.com/btuk. Over 420,000 have cast their vote so far and are in for a chance to win the opportunity to play a wedding guest in the next instalment if the long running advert soap.
