The official Royal Wedding programme – which will be sold at selected areas along the processional route – has been released electronically so that everyone can get a glimpse of what is to happen during tomorrow’s ceremony in Westminster Abbey (you can download it too if you wish). The programme reveals that the bride, Kate Middleton, will be walking down the aisle to Sir Charles Hubert Hastings Parry’s ‘I Was Glad’. The official programme also features a yet unseen photo of William and Kate taken by photographer Mario Testino.
Leaving the hymns behind in Westminster Abbey, music at the wedding reception will be performed by the likes of Ellie Goulding, who will provide some after-dinner entertainment at an intimate gathering for 300 people hosted by William’s father Prince Charles. Will we see Ellie serenade William and Catherine with the cover of ‘Your Song’ by Sir Elton John – who is attending the nuptials with his partner David Furnish?
