Pop up site Camp Royale is a go

If you’re planning on where to go on the 29th April to see the Royal Wedding, perhaps heading to Clapham Common is the solution.

The organisers of Camp Royale have been given the go ahead by Lambeth Council to set up camp on the common over the Royal Wedding weekend, 28 – 1 May 2011.

The camp will be able to accommodate 10,000 royal revellers, students, families, glampers and die hard monarchists who are interested in celebrating the forthcoming royal nuptials. The site will feature a 20m² tv screen for guests to watch the build up and live broadcasts, and free morning brew every day.
