British designer Alice Temperley has said she felt “honoured” to design Pippa Middleton’s dress for the royal wedding reception on Friday night.

Pippa looked amazing in a floor-length green dress at the evening reception. The younger sister of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, had earlier in the day wowed the world – and Twitter – with her ivory white figure-hugging Alexander McQueen dress as she acted as her sister’s Maid of Honour.

Temperley told vogue.co.uk: “I was honoured that Ms. Pippa Middleton asked us to design her dress for the royal wedding evening reception. Pippa is a beautiful young woman and a delight to work with. She looked incredible and the green colour looks great on her skin tone.”
