We knew it wouldn’t take long for people to start making replicas of Kate’s stunning Sarah Burton / Alexander McQueen wedding dress.

As soon as the bride stepped out of the Rolls Royce and onto the red carpet and the first full length pictures of her were snapped, workers in a wedding dress studio in Suzhou City, China began working to reproduce Kate’s bespoke McQueen piece. It took six workers 31 hours to complete the 3 meter long copy of the new Duchess’ wedding gown. Faviana Fashion House in New York has also made knockoffs of the royal wedding gown. Labelled ‘Princess Kate’ it is made in satin with chiffon French lace.

A copy of the lace gown is selling for around $280 on Chinas largest online shopping bazaar.

Isn’t it lovely? Kate copied Grace, now we can copy Kate.
