How to get a Pippa Middleton-style behind

Ever since Pippa Middleton stepped out in her white Alexander McQueen bridesmaid dress for big sister Kate’s royal wedding to Prince William, women across the world have wanted to know how to get a bum like that.

Now celebrity fitness instructor Mark Anthony claims a butt like Pippa Middleton’s can be achieved simply by walking differently.

According to the exercise expert – who counts ‘Harry Potter’ actress Bonnie Wright, glamour model Katie Price, and singer-turned-actress Billie Piper amongst his clients – there are small lifestyle changes that can be made in everyday life in order to achieve a perfectly-toned behind like the much-admired sister of the Duchess of Cambridge.

So what do we have to do?!

Mark says: “You can achieve a pert ‘Pippa’ bottom by making a few adjustments to your daily routine. When you’re walking to work, take long strides, squeeze your glutes and keep your abs tight and firm.

“When you’re sitting behind a desk, throw your shoulders back and keep your abs lovely and tight. If you can try and keep to this posture when you eventually stand up you engage your glutes every single time. So technically you`re firing up the muscles in your bum every time you stand up at work!”

Needless to say we’ve been sitting very ‘properly’ – Princess like you could even say – at our desks all day, silently humming the mantra “shoulders back, abs tight” over and over and over again…

Mark also urges those wanting to get in shape for the summer to drink more water and eat small, regular meals.

He added: “By consuming at least two litres of water a day this will help you flush out the excess water retention that your body is holding. Smart eating is key to maintaining your energy levels. Make sure that you are eating small regular meals throughout each day and never miss breakfast. Reduce the amount of salt in your diet and try to limit alcohol to weekends. Always include a light snack in between breakfast and lunch and between lunch.”
Got it! Keep hydrated, watch the old diet and think about our posture and we’ll have a behind like Pippa in no time. Well… we hope.
