Yesterday Lily Allen went on a Twitter rage after letting her wedding stress get to her. She quickly calmed down, and today it’s revealed that the singer will be spending her honeymoon at Glastonbury.
The 25-year-old is set to tie the knot with fiancé Sam Cooper in Gloucestershire, South West England on 11 June this year, and is planning to travel to the world famous music festival in Somerset at the end of June to relax with her new husband.
For many festivals brings out memories of mud, horrible sanitary conditions and amazing music, but Lily doesn’t intend to get her wellies dirty while on honeymoon. Instead she’ll be glamping it up in luxury £1,000 tepees in the VIP area.
Lily – who performed on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury in 2009 – has invited festival organiser Michael Eavis to her wedding. Eavis said: “I’m going to the wedding in Gloucestershire. I’ve known her since she was tiny. She’s such a star isn’t she? Her songs are so good. I’d love to coax her out of retirement for this year’s festival. I’m sure she’ll come back but right now I’m really looking forward to her wonderful wedding.”
