As America’s President Barack Obama and his first lady Michelle leave UK today after their short but sweet visit to the Isles this week, we’ve decided to take a look at their seemingly strong, nay unbreakable relationship.

A perfect example of so-called power couples, Michelle and Barack have a famously strong partnership, and have managed to successfully juggle work, first as lawyers and now as the most powerful couple in the world,  children and a very punishing schedule.

Senior Director of Research at Dr Gian Gonzaga believes that power couples work because they constantly balance each other out with the same levels of respect, support, communication and romance.
