The Prince and his new wife Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge have returned home from their Seychelles honeymoon.
The newlyweds – who married in a lavish ceremony in Westminter Abbey on 29 April – spent ten days on the secluded North Island in the Indian Ocean before flying home on Saturday, 21 May.
A spokesman for St James’s Palace said: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have returned to the UK from their honeymoon in the Seychelles.
“The couple thoroughly enjoyed their time together, and they are grateful to the Seychelles Government for their assistance in making the honeymoon such a memorable and special ten days.”
Staff at the luxury £4,000-a-night retreat where the couple stayed revealed the prince called their destination a “piece of heaven”.
William is quoted by the Daily Star saying: “I’ve had the best diving experience I’ve ever experience while I’ve been here. It has been amazing. We have had a truly magical time. One of the main reasons we came here was because it’s a country that looks after its own environment. Neither of us want to leave.”
