If they aren’t getting engaged, they’re breaking up – and sometimes it is a bit of both. Jennifer Lopez ended her seven-year marriage earlier this month, and over the weekend it’s been reported that former The Hills star Kristin Cavallari and fiancé Jay Cutler have ended their engagement.

NFL player Jay popped the question to the former reality TV star in April during a romantic holiday to Cabo, Mexico. Although the couple busily preparing for a spring wedding next year, friends have revealed that Jay has “dumped” his fiancé. Such a horrible word to describe the end of a relationship.

Kristin is said to be “absolutely devastated” and is having trouble believing this is happening.

The former bride-to-be was planning her dream wedding and had already set the date and found the location.

Kristin and Jay had been dating for 10 months before getting engaged, and the shock break-up comes just a week after they held a party to celebrate their upcoming nuptials.
