Young royal Zara Phillips has finally revealed who is designing her dress when she walks down the aisle to marry fiancé Mike Tindall in Edinburgh on 30th July. The chosen designer is London-based Stewart Parvin who is one of the Queen’s couturiers.
While Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, decided to keep her wedding dress design and designer a secret until she stepped out to travel to Westminster Abbey on her wedding day, Zara apparently sees no harm in letting everyone know. That said, Zara has said nothing about the design of the gown when she weds England rugby star Tindall except that it will be a classic design. In spite of her somewhat alternative behaviour at times, it proves Zara is a traditional girl at heart.
Groom Mike, who has chosen Zara’s brother to be his Best Man, won’t have much time after the wedding and has to skip the honeymoon altogether for now as he’s scheduled to play in a World Cup warm-up game against Wales the weekend after tying the knot.
