Elisabetta Polignano’s Gioia collection is a breath of fresh air to otherwise ivory horizons of wedding dresses.

Gioia means ‘happiness’ in Italian and this collection certainly made us jump with joy when we discovered it. Using tones of purple and pink – with a few crisp white inclusions – Elisabetta’s designs are perfect for brides wanting to add a bit of colour to their dresses.

Elisabetta is originally from Putignano, Bari, which is considered as the Italian ‘capital’ of wedding dresses. Personally overseeing the production, Elisabetta’s latest designs combines experimentation and romanticism with a beautiful result. Showing wide lines, mixed with soft textures and a sense of lightness and flimsiness, the dresses exude energy.
