Great news for anyone getting married! New research shows that since 2008 the cost of a UK wedding has dropped by a whopping 25%. However, you might want to go easy on the Dom Perignon as the average wedding will still set you back £15,500, including honeymooning.

It doesn’t come as a surprise that Londoners are the ones spending the most above the national average, with the normal wedding in the capital costing 23% more. On the other end of the scale is Northern Ireland which is 12% below average on wedding cost.

How much are you spending/planning to spend on your wedding?
