This sort of thing usually ends badly. And they haven’t even set the date yet! I’m not talking about celebs tying the knot, I’m talking about not protecting your assets in the case love should fizzle out…
Happy celebrity couple actress Elizabeth Hurley and former cricketer Shane Warne – who got engaged after dating just ten months – have revealed they’re not getting a prenuptial agreement to protect their respective fortunes.
At a recent press junket Shane said: “I don’t think we’ll worry about that stuff.” He also admitted that they are in no rush to walk down the aisle as they are enjoying each other’s company so much. “There has not been one chat about what date, where, anything like that. It hasn’t been brought up once.” Bless. To be that much in love must be wonderful.
While it is amazing what love and romance can do to people, do you think it is a wise idea to not have a prenup if you have anything worth having should (and we hope not!) the marriage end sometime in the future?
After all they both have failed marriages behind them… Leave us a comment below.
