The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate have been immortalised in wax and have taken centre-stage at Madame Tussauds in London.
Almost one year after the royals tied the knot in Westminster Abbey as the world watched their every move, the wax works of Catherine and William were unveiled today. The couple can be seen wearing the same attire as for their engagement announcement in 2010, with Kate in her famous navy blue Reiss dress.
Now the likeness is pretty good – they have even copied Kate’s blue sapphire engagement ring that once belonged to the late Princess Diana, William’s mother – but we would have liked to see wax-Kate and wax-Wills with their arms linked as in the photo below.
