We know many brides are unsure about whether or not to carry a bag with them on the big day, after all they won't need their mobile phones as many of their friends and family will be there.
Then there's the worry about what to do with it when your taking your vows.

Although its not by any means a tradition to carry a bag, they do come in handy for keeping make up in, and they can be easily passed to your bridesmaid or maid of honour when you're at the ceremony.

If you like the idea of one then make sure you pick one that matches the shade of your dress. If you can get an exact match you can also customise it by adding sparkles, feathers or beading to detract from the slight colour mismatch.

We've put together a gallery of bags to help you.

Nia.jpgIf you're getting married this winter but worried about the dark and dreary nights then add some colour to the day with these hot pink shoes from Aruna Seth.

We know they may not be the first choice to an otherwise traditional wedding, but you'll only do it once, so why not do it in colourful style. We think these shoes are perfect for brides that really want to stand out and we've fallen in love with the butterfly detailing, which is a perfect partner to these summery shoes. There's also a hidden platform sole meaning these shoes won't hurt your feet.

The shoes also come in black and ivory, but remember, hot pink shoes are really a pair you can wear again and again.

The shoes, which come in a range of colours including ivory and cream, are adorned with over 3,000 Swaroski crystals.

The heel is also cushioned to give you extra comfort throughout your day meaning you won't have to take your shoes off for the after dinner disco.

diamonds.jpgIt seems that companies are waking up to the fact that we're in a midst of credit crunch and that we have to tighten our corsets when it comes to our bridal budget.

Following on from our news about a designer shoe hiring service, we've just been told about the UK's first diamond jewellery rental website.

Diamondthrills is aimed at women who want to wear that expensive piece of jewellery for a special occasion but can't afford it, especially brides who want to be adorned with genuine diamonds on their wedding day (unfortunately we're not talking about the engagement ring here.)

It offers a range of diamond earrings, pendants, necklaces, bangles, bracelets and tiaras, all available for hire at prices that start at £50 per week.

In addition, you'll also have the peace of mind of knowing that loaned jewellery is insured whilst in their possession, and delivery to and from the customer is secure and free.

Visit the website now for that extra bridal bling.

Cinders.jpgIt's often hard sticking to a bridal budget especially if, like us, you have a penchant for designer shoes. So what do you do? Do you blow the budget meaning your groom misses out on his stag night?

Or do you sulk for hours because you can't have your dream pair?

Thanks to new website, Cinderella Me, you won't have to do either. The online shoe designer website, which is said to be the first of its kind in the UK, lets brides-to-be and fashionistas hire designer shoes such as Christian Louboutin and Gucci, from just £40 a week, meaning you won't have to compromise on your big day.

The monthly membership fee of £9.95 also means you can carry on renting shoes of your choice well after the wedding too, well there's no point in wasting that kind of money.

Swarovski launches red crystal collection

Red necklace SwarovskiRed is going to be big this season with many catwalk designers showing off this colour in their new collections, and of course these trends will filter down to the bridal looks of this year.

If you don't want a red theme for your wedding, but want to stay on top of the latest fashions then Swarovski may have the answer.

The crystal company has designed a range of red gemmed jewellery, which we think will add a touch of colour to your white wedding dress or complete your bridesmaid's outfits.

The facetted Bordeaux crystal gleams in deep shades of red have been made into earrings, necklaces and ring and we absolutely love the (pictured) necklace, which brings a winter feel and can be worn with a strapless dress or sweetheart neckline.

Prices range from around £80 to £100, but with the red trend looking set to stay, you can wear these items again and again.

Confetti Stewart.JPGIf you're stuck on how to decorate your wedding venue then Confetti may have the answer.

The wedding store has teamed up with London wedding dress designer Stewart Parvin to create a wedding theme with a difference.

Lending his design authority to Confetti, Stewart has created a theme, characterised by rose pink, soft green, peach and ivory, with quirky details and lavish florals.

You can create this look with Confetti, with trailing ribbons in satin and chiffon and pretty undefined birdcages filled with romantic flowers for an elegant and stylish wedding.

Add elegant white stationary, soft pastel votives and pretty tin buckets filled with confectionary to complete your wedding look.

Fairy Jane.JPGTiaras are tricky things, they are either a perfect match to your dress or you can go for weeks looking for the perfect one.
If you're having the latter problem then we think we may have found a company that can give you a helping hand.

Fairy Jane Tiaras creates bespoke, handcrafted Tiaras, and hair accessories for weddings.

All the designs are handmade and are created from Silver Plated or Gold Plated wire and Swarovski Crystals, Pearls and Freshwater Pearls.

The tiaras are also designed personally for you meaning they can be matched to your wedding dress style, colour scheme or setting. Perfect.

Tiaras with a difference, from Swarovski

Headband.jpgIf you want a headpiece a little bit different from the normal tiara then Swarovski may hold the key.

The company has designed a range of gorgeous headpieces, which will give you that special princess look.

We love the Etoile headband, which we think gives a medieval look to a bridal day and the best bit about this is that it can be worn time and time again. It costs £122.

The company's Gold hair clip is also perfect for brides that want something simple for their day. Because it has crystals, it sparkles, but unlike a tiara it's not overly intrusive. Perfect.

Charnos.jpgNow I'm not sure about you, but when I go to weddings I don't really look at the hosiery the guests or the bride are wearing. Well it wouldn't be polite to be staring at ladies legs all day would it?

However this new range by Charnos may change things.

The company has launched a range of hosiery for nearly every attendee on the wedding day, this is obviously optional for the men and for the Groom but if insists then you may want to rethink your plans.

Brides can bring out their secret naughty side with a range of stockings, tights and hold ups, while bridesmaids can join in the fun with a pair of gorgeous hexagon mesh tights that come in silver grey and match nearly any colour dress.

If your mother is prone to being a little bit clumsy when she gets nervous (my mum is, bless her) then the run resist tights will be perfect as they don't ladder.

Now we're not telling you to call your guests and tell them they must wear these tights, after all that would be encouraging you take on Bridezilla tendencies, which you know we're very much against, but the company does do a very nice evening collection.

We love the bow back seam tights, which look plain from the front but sexy from the back so there's no excuse for anyone not to get their pins out.

Swarv 20 anni.JPGIt's been 20 years since crystal genius the Daniel Swarovsk icouture line sparkled into our hearts and onto our bridal necks, wrists, ears, oh you get the picture.

And to celebrate its 20th anniversary it's launched a range of 20 bags and 20 pieces of jewellery, which it claims shows the best of two decades of couture collections.

Now some of it may be a little over the top for your wedding day, but we love this crystal and pearl bag (pictured below) that would be perfect for brides with a plain dress.

This necklace (picturedabove) would also be a nice touch for brides that have gone for a daring backless dress, and the best thing about this is that you can wear it for upcoming Christmas parties, a perfect justification for spending money.

Wrap up your winter bridal look

Stoles by girls love pearls.jpgIf you're looking to add a little bit of winter glamour to your wedding then you'll adore these new furs, wraps and stoles by Girls Love Pearls.

The company has launched its winter range, which includes a cute marabou feathered stole that ties with a satin ribbon and cashmere wraps.

Now we've never come along this site, which traditionally specialised in pearl jewellery, before so we thought we'd be the Miss Marple of the bridal world and have a nose around and we were impressed with what we saw.

This site has every single piece of jewellery you can think of including cute pearls watches. There's also an online stylist, who you can use to help you find the perfect necklace for the day by typing in the style of dress you are wearing and picking a necklace. This then shows up on an avatar so you can see if the jewellery matches your dresses neckline. Perfect.

Oh yes, and before we get too carried away prices for the wraps, stoles and furs range from £95 to £389.
