Bride-to-be Reese sorting the final wedding details?
Reese Witherspoon, whose birthday it is today 22nd March, is counting down the days to her big day. With less than a week to go, we’ve seen photos of Reese stepping up the exercise regime to look her best on her wedding day this Saturday 26th March.
The 35-year-old actress and her husband-to-be Tim Toth are reported to be tying the knot in an intimate ceremony at Reese’s county estate in Ojai, California. Apparently there will be lots of candles and flowers in white and shades of pastel.
The 100 people wedding party is likely to see Reese walk down the aisle in a gown by well-known wedding dress designer Monique Lhuillier – see Monique Lhuillier’s Autumn 2011 collection here.
This will be the second marriage for the blonde actress, who was previously married to fellow actor Ryan Phillippe with whom she has two children.

At the launch of new tennis web TV show, Xperia Hot Shots, tennis star Maria Sharapova (23) showed off her huge engagement ring. Glittering in the Florida sun no-one could miss the sparkler on her left hand.
The tennis ace got engaged to New Jersey Nets star Sasha Vujacic last October after he proposed with the ring, which is believed to be worth £250,000.

Finding the right band and deciding on the songs for your wedding can be a headache. Do you go with traditional wedding tunes or opt for a more personal choice that might or might not be to everyone’s taste?
Staying true to her rock chick image, British supermodel Kate Moss – who is tying the knot with rocker Jamie Hince on 2nd July 2011 – has reportedly drawn up a long list of acts she is keen to have perform at the couple’s wedding in the hope of turning the event into a “mini Glastonbury” festival.
Included on the list are Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones and the fashion queen is also believed to be in touch to Duran Duran, The Clash, Kanye West, Primal Scream and Gossip frontwoman Beth Ditto.
An insider explained: “Kate is pulling out the big guns for her wedding. She has drawn up her dream list of artists she wants to play and is wasting no time asking them. A lot of them are her mates and shouldn’t have any problem doing a number.
Don’t know about you, but we would pay big money to be a part of Kate’s festivalesque wedding. But by the looks of it Kate’s huge guest list is proving problematic and she is having issues finding a venue that is big enough to accommodate the couple and their showbiz pals.
Speaking to The Sun, the source added: “After weeks of searching, there are options but Kate’s out-growing them with her guest list. She has been worrying about it as it’s getting so big and she’s reluctant to take anyone off. She wants to invite everyone who has been there for her since she was young.”

A little birdy has told us that Reese Witherspoon is planning an “intimate” wedding to fiancée Jim Toth on 26 March.
The actress – who like many other celebrities got engaged over the Christmas holidays – is reportedly working with celebrity event maestro Yifat Oren to plan a small Southern-themed ceremony for aournd 100 guests at her own estate in Ojai Valley, California.
According to a source speaking to National Enquirer magazine: “the Southern theme reflects her roots. Candles and flowers, mostly roses and calla lilies, will be everywhere in white and soft pastels for an intimate feel.”
The 34-year-old star – who has two children from her seven-year marriage to actor Ryan Phillippe – is determined to get her special day right. Perhaps sometimes it takes one wedding to learn from to get it right?
We’ve seen photos of Reese hitting the gym to tone up ahead of her nuptials and are sure she’ll look stunning when she walks down the aisle in two weeks time.

There’s been a lot of talk about giving up things lately with Lent having just started (we decided to give up our diets!). This got us thinking: what would you give up for your partner?
Russell Brand who got married to pop star Katy Perry last year, has revealed that he would be prepared to give up his riches for his partner.
The ‘Arthur’ actor, who had a reputation as a bad boy and lothario before marrying the songstress explained: “I would never give up love; I’d definitely give up money. Now that I’m married, I have this great love and partnership in my life that is the most important thing to me.”
Russell also admitted that he was “ready” to be tamed by Katy. The singer is currently on a world tour and according to newpaper The Sun, Katy has planted notes around the house and items of her favourite lingeries for her husband to find whilst she’s away. That’s one way of ensuring reformed ladies man Russell doesn’t stray while she’s away! Amid report that their marriage is in trouble, Katy might not have that much to worry about as Russell is apparently “discovering how lovely permanence and building an ongoing relationship can be.”
But we digress. Now that you’ve found love, what would you give up for your partner? Money, clothes, chocolate???

While Kate Moss has opted for Galliano and Kate Middleton might be walking down the aisle in McQueen by Sarah Burton, Lily Allen has revealed that her wedding dress will be Chanel.
The British singer – who is engaged to builder Sam Cooper - was spotted visiting the Chanel studios in Paris yesterday, 7 March, and when asked what she was doing there, replied: “I’m here to see Karl [Lagerfeld] for my wedding dress.”
Lily has a history with the French brand, and is often seen wearing Chanel; she fronted the Coco Cocoon handbag campaign in 2009 and performed at the label’s spring/summer 2010 show. Chanel will be showing its autumn/winter 2011-12 later today at Paris Fashion Week.
We’re quite jealous of Lily. Having Kaiser Karl designing your wedding dress sounds like a dream come true.

Kate Moss will look “fresh and modern” on her wedding day.
The supermodel is set to marry Jamie Hince later this year and celebrity hairdresser James Brown is set to style her tresses and while they have not yet discussed her look, James is certain she won’t have a dated up-do.
James – who hosts his new TV show ‘Great British Hairdresser’, which searches for the UK’s next greatest hair stylist – exclusively told BANG Showbiz: “I might well be doing her wedding hair! I don’t know what it will be though because Kate’s not like that, she doesn’t plan her looks ahead. She looks in her wardrobe and what’s in there she wears. She just chucks it on and goes, which is why I think she always looks so cool.
“Why do brides wear have up dos on their big day? They have this lovely long gorgeous hair and then they put it up and turn into Irish dancers. It’s fresh and modern to have it down so I can see Kate with something like that.”
James has worked with Kate for over 20 years says he’s proud of every look he’s given her.
Talking about the best cut he’s given, James – who has also worked with Lily Allen, Sienna Miller and Liv Tyler – said: “I suppose when I cut all Kate’s hair off into that little crop in 2000 and everyone kind of went mad, but then every time I do something to her hair it makes the front page!”
James hosts ‘Great British Hairdresser’ alongside model Abbey Clancy and magazine editor Jo Elvin, which airs on Mondays on E4 at 10pm.

Pop music darling and Mrs Russell Brand, Katy Perry, has revealed she wore her grandmother’s earrings on her wedding day.
Katy married British funnyman Russell Brand last October after just over a year of dating and was proud to carry on family tradition by including the jewellery in her outfit because she loves wearing pieces with sentimental meaning.
She explained: “My grandma gave me some earrings she wore on her wedding day, which my cousin wore to her wedding and I wore on my wedding day. I like things that have stories behind them.”
As well as wearing her grandmother’s jewellery, Katy admitted she loves to raid her husband’s accessories collection to find new things to accompany her outfits.
Speaking to Hello! magazine, she added: “My husband wears a lot of jewellery. His jewellery case is pretty impressive. A lot of times I’m picking out things of his to wear. We steal each other’s jewellery.”

While the rumour mill keep going for who will be creating princess-to-be Kate Middleton’s dress for her 29th April wedding to her prince charming, William, it appears that the Queen of Fashion Kate Moss will walk down the aisle this summer in one of her own designs.
When asked about the coming nuptials, Britain’s punk queen and a close friend of the model Vivienne Westwood told the Daily Mail: “No, I think she’s designing it designing it herself. She has done her own fashion range and she knows about clothes. She knows what she is doing, she doesn’t need my help.” Moss has previously designed collections for Topshop and Longchamp.
Moss’ wedding to rocker Jamie Hince is set to take place on 2nd July, and seeing as Jamie proposed with a specially made ring we don’t see why Kate would want her dress to be any less spectacular.

Can’t believe we haven’t mentioned it yet – Kate Moss has been seen sporting a gorgeous sparkler and is reportedly to marry to rocker boyfriend Jamie Hince.
According to MarieClaire the vintage ring is inspired by the one worn by Moss’ idol and twenties icon, Zelda Fitzgerald – wife of novelist F. Scott Fitzgerald.
As Kate is rumoured to be thinking about a roaring ’20s themed wedding we expect to see flapper fever hit the UK wedding scene this year.

Christmas and New Year is a popular time to get engaged, and celebrities are no exception! During the festive season, when we were busy drinking mulled wine and eating mince pies, announcements of engagements flooded in from several starlets. Following a year of many celebrity divorces, we are thrilled that so many lucky ladies (and men!) will be tying the knot in 2011.
Joining Kate and Wills in nuptial bliss are Reese Witherspoon, Natalie Portman, Leann Rimes, Girls Aloud’s Sarah Harding, Ginnifer Goodwin, David Tennant, and Hugh Hefner. And not to forget, Lily Allen who is to marry “the love of [her] life” Sam Cooper. We’re especially delighted to hear Lily’s news after her very trialling year.
This also means that we get to ‘oooh’ and ‘aaah’ over engagement rings (Reese’s is said to be worth a whopping $250k!), wedding dresses and celebrity wedding bashes in the months ahead. Not to forget the forthcoming royal wedding!

Former Simple Life star, Nicole Richie has tied the knot with Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden after four years together.
Daily Mail reports that Richie and Madden exchanged vows at her father’s Beverly Hill estate, which featured an appearance by a trained elephant called Taj, as well as daughter Harlow and son Sparrow as a flower girl and page boy,
Richie is rumoured to have walked down the aisle in a $20,000 custom-made Marchesa gown – we guessed it back in October – in what is said to have been an Old Hollywood inspired wedding.
The intimate winter wedding was attended by the likes of Gwen Stefani, Samantha Ronson and Madden’s twin brother Benji.
Former BFF Paris Hilton, however, was nowhere to be seen.

It’s the wedding we’ve all been waiting for.
And according to the gossip grapevine Russell Brand and Katy Perry’s wedding is thought to be just weeks away.
The pair have started the bridal mill talking by reportedly sending out glossy invitations inviting friends to seven days of celebrations in India.
According to The Mirror it is thought 75-100 guests will be attending including the likes of Rihanna (KP’s BFF and hen night organiser), Taylor Swift and Noel Gallagher.

‘Expect the most vibrant wedding of the year,’ a friend of the couple told the Mirror. ‘It will be a mix of traditional Hollywood glamour with Katy’s hair and dress, plus Indian touches like henna art on her hands and feet, an Indian tiara and hair brooches.
And it is also thought Katy will be employing dress designer Reem Acra to create her special frock. We can’t wait to see what the day(s) bring.

Ladies forget those strapless A-line dresses, because it seems that mermaid frock is back, well that’s the style Coco Rocha wore when she got married recently.
We’ve been waiting a while to get a glimpse of the Zac Posen wedding dress the model wore to marry interior decorator James Conlan.
And there was a lot of excitement surrounding this frock so we were thrilled when Coco Twittered “I think I’ve left you all waiting long enough for this one…” followed by link to a full length photo of her frock.
We definitely think it was worth the wait. We think she looks gorgeous.
