When it’s cold and raining outside, like it was yesterday, my ideal thing to do is sit with a nice big duvet and watch films.
These are often ones that contain romance and of course weddings. So what better way to start the week than by giving you a rundown of a few of my favourite screen wedding dresses.
However keep reading because this week, because we’ll be putting together a look alike gallery of the dresses we have featured today, just in case you want to walk down the aisle looking like the lead of My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

I don’t know about you but as a child I always pictured my wedding. I’d walk down the aisle looking like a Disney princess in a big white dress to say my vows.
Obviously, as time has gone on, and I’ve got older I’ve realised that there are hundreds of wedding dresses to choose from, and the fairy princess look, although still around, has been replaced with straight, A Line and fishtail styles.
But that’s not to say that these dresses don’t exist, and if you’re having a fairy themed or princess style wedding then there are many to choose from.
We have a look at some princess dresses that were the stuff of childhood dreams and a possibility for some lucky brides to be.

Last week we bought you a gallery of castles fit for a princess to get married in, but every princess needs a suitable outfit.
A Celtic or medieval inspired wedding dresses are ideal for a castle venue with typical styles offering lush fabrics, long draped sleeves, boned bodices and gorgeous trains for walking down the aisle.
These elegant wedding dresses may not suit a beach wedding theme, but they look stunning in an old fashioned setting. And, as they are that little bit different you can get away with colours too.
We’ve had a royal gander and put together a range of traditional medieval dresses perfect for a traditional, pagan or other religious wedding.

This season see’s a range of coloured dresses by designers such as Oscar De la Renta and Vera Wang.
A good fashion move especially for brides that like to be a little bit different on their wedding day and choose to do this by adding colour.
Now we know we’ve covered different coloured gowns before, but for those brides that are a little bit too nervous (or who don’t want to look like Jordan on their wedding day) to go the whole way we have found some dresses with a hint of colour, that will make you stand out without being too drastic.

Now I don’t usually go for WAG weddings but since Gary Lineker has been a secret crush of mine for a long time, I thought it would only be fair to mention his wedding to model Danielle Bux last week.
The couple got married in a quiet £400 ceremony in Italy and then splashed out on a reception for 50 guests spending an estimated £250,000 on a six-course meal.
I wish I could just ignore Danielle for the moment and concentrate on Gary but I do have to admit she looked absolutely gorgeous in this Jenny Packham dress. Although it looks more traditional than wedding dresses we have seen on celebs, the rouched detailing around the bodice gives it it’s own special look.

I know we’ve been having a little debate recently about short dresses, but I couldn’t resist sharing this new collection with you.
The designers at Amsale have taken the little black dress term straight into bridalwear creating a Little White Dress collection for brides that want something that little bit different.
I personally think this is a brilliant idea, especially for brides that are getting married abroad and I’ll definitely be considering one of these when my wedding time comes.

Another weekend and another celebrity wedding. This time it was model and actresses, Milla Jovovich, who walked down the aisle, for the third time, with film maker Paul WS Anderson.
The couple who got married in the garden of their Beverly Hills home met while making 2002 horror movie Resident Evil.
And we absolutely love Milla’s gorgeous floaty 1960s style dress.
Unfortunately we can’t find you the exact one as she designed it herself but we have found some similar alternatives.
