Whilst you probably wouldn’t wear these with your wedding dress, they really are cute as a button so pop them in with a bridesmaid or flowergirls gift basket. They’ll be especially poignant if they can remember the days when the famous ‘Love is…’ cartoon pic came out. When I was a cute little 5 year old with golden ringlets (many moons ago before I discovered GHDs and peroxide) I was asked to be a bridesmaid at wedding – after which the bride presented me a lovely silver heart locket that I have treasured ever since and worn religiously every day. I can’t imagine anything prettier for a winter bride than these lovely snowflake pendants. There is a big difference in the prices but I’m sure both will appeal. We’ve mentioned cuff bracelets before but Beady Eye Designs have spotted a new trends for wearing them. I’m not sold on the idea of fitting one round your ankle but I do love the thought of one worn on the upper arm especially if you’re going for a Grecian or very summery look.

Whilst many of us shop in large stores for convinience, it’s really important to support smaller, independent retailers and quite often that is where you’ll find the really unique, lovely stuff that people are always kicking themselves because they didn’t find it first. Danish brand Hultquist will probably be a new name to many of us but I hope it sticks! This daisy necklace has a wonderfully fresh appeal to it with pearl petals and a crystal centrepiece for a dash of sparkle. I think it would look great for Spring brides and it can easily be worn after the day – it’s only £30 at The Accessories Studio. Other matching pieces are availble too.

Though I’ll always be a fan of a classic string of round pearls I’m certainly tempted by these irregular pearls too. The pearls are created due to an accident in the culturing process where bits break away from the original pearl to grow into irregular and unique shapes with smooth or crumpled surfaces with shapes from seeds to sticks. I’m so glad when designers take the time to email me about their ranges. The Internet is such a massive place, I might not have come across the gorgeous range at F.N.U.E (From Now Until Eternity) otherwise.
