The title of this post might seem a little confusing, but high street shoe purveyors Dolcis have just been bought by Barratts. Fear not, though, as this only means that all those fabulous shoes are available from one place.

These Dolcis cream lace peep toes are currently available at Barratt’s website. I love the ribbon bow detail which makes these a perfect bridal pair which really make a statement. That statement? Glamour and style. At £35 you can’t go wrong.

I’m beginning to think that my shoe shopping addiction is back in full swing, and it’s all the fault of these gorgeous Ciren shoes from Faith.

Afraid to dance the night away?

I heard about these blister plasters just before I set off to do a 12 mile walk in New York. I bought a pack and packed them, smugly. As it turned out, I didn’t need them, but I was glad to have them and now I’ll make sure I take them on any night out where I’m wearing heels or less than comfortable shoes, like, you know, a wedding!

Apparently they provide “immediate pain and pressure relief, cushioning protection and help create the ideal healing conditions for blisters.” Get the Scholl plasters from Boots in the UK. Classic white pump from Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson wouldn’t be my first port of call in searching for a wedding shoe. However, I spotted these ‘Brenda’ pumps and think they would make a great budget buy at $68.95 with a leather upper plus a 3 and 1/2 inch heel. The reviews aren’t very promising though especially when it comes to comfort. They’re online here.

As with all wedding accessories, there’s no better time to wear a pair of shoes that really make a statement than the day you skip down the aisle. Be they designer or just something bold like this pair from Coast, you can’t go wrong.
