Paris Hilton Senorita shoe.jpg Not normally known for her taste in clothing, Paris Hilton's recently launched range of bridal shoes are surprisingly appealing. We particularly like the 'Senorita' shoe: white with an exaggerated bow, they'd be a pretty finishing touch to almost any full-length gown. All the shoes also have a pink sole - not to everyone's tastes, but a fun addition nonetheless.

Available in four styles and at a very reasonable $120 (around £60) they can be ordered online and delivered to the UK from www.myglassslipper.com.

Nia.jpgIf you're getting married this winter but worried about the dark and dreary nights then add some colour to the day with these hot pink shoes from Aruna Seth.

We know they may not be the first choice to an otherwise traditional wedding, but you'll only do it once, so why not do it in colourful style. We think these shoes are perfect for brides that really want to stand out and we've fallen in love with the butterfly detailing, which is a perfect partner to these summery shoes. There's also a hidden platform sole meaning these shoes won't hurt your feet.

The shoes also come in black and ivory, but remember, hot pink shoes are really a pair you can wear again and again.

With the recession looming over us like a dark cloud, wedding budgets are closing up faster than you can say I Do.

Yes we all want that big expensive designer dress, Jimmy Choo shoes and diamond encrusted tiara but there are many other options out there that are just as good.

In the past few years highstreet stores (don't turn your noses up) have really come into their own when it comes to bridalwear and accessories.

We have a look at some of the options available to you, and we're sure you'll be more than surprised.

Ar shoe.jpgGo for a completely different wedding shoe on your big day with these gorgeous Cinderella wedding wedges by Aruna Seth.

The shoes, which come in a range of colours including ivory and cream, are adorned with over 3,000 Swaroski crystals.

The heel is also cushioned to give you extra comfort throughout your day meaning you won't have to take your shoes off for the after dinner disco.

RAINBOW pINK.JPGIf you don't want to wear traditional wedding shoes on your big day and want a pair that is funky, yet easy to dance in, then you might like this new range from Rainbow.

The wedding shoe company has launched a range of prom, wedding and hen weekend shoes, which you can wear over and over again (well as long as you pick a suitable colour.)

All the styles in the range can be dyed to match whatever colour you chose and you can also dress your page boys and bridesmaids in these cute Velcro trainers to match your outfit and make sure there are no falls on the wedding day.

Sizes range from 3-8.

We've all seen Runaway Bride, where Julia Roberts runs out on nearly every man she walks down the aisle to and yes, she's been wearing trainers each time.

Now we're not suggesting you run out on your groom on the wedding day but those brides that want a little bit of comfort on their wedding day will love these new bridal trainers by Rainbow.

Designed by Diane Hassall, the satin trainers can be hand coloured to any shade. They also have authentic eyelets and are available in sizes 3- 8.

The base shoe comes in ivory satin with bright silver linings. Brides that want to add a bit of colour can also opt for coloured shoelaces or opt for satin ribbon. The trainers cost £65 and hand dying is free at the point of sale.

Diane Hassall Vintage wedding shoes

vintage.jpgNow I've got a bit of a fetish for all things Vintage and spend hours scouting around shops to find my outfits.

Last night, when the shops were closed I did what every normal girl would do and turned to my trusty internet friend to help me continue the search and walked into these gorgeous pair of shoes that I had to share with you.

The Buttercup wedding shoe is a Victorian style half boot wedding shoe from Diane Hassall's new range. They are created from ivory silk and are covered with vintage style lace, which I think gives a gorgeous romantic twist.

Now at 9cm tall, these probably aren't the most comfortable of shoes but I love the fact that you can choose from a selection of ankle ties including soft organza.

And now for the bad news, there's a six to eight week wait on all Diane Hassall wedding shoes because the shoes are hand made to order, however we found a company, which has a pair of size 5.5 stock. Call English Bridal Couture now on 01952 883939 to get your hands on these.

Bryony.JPGIf you're looking for bridal shoes with a sparkly difference then we've found a new range that might have you jumping up and down.

Now, a warning, they aren't the cheapest shoes around, so if you want bargain bridal shoes then look away now.

The new range by Aruna Seth are made from leather, thick cut satin and are embellished with Swarvoski Crystals and there really is a range for everyone.

We love the company's Bryony shoe, which is a satin court shoe Swarovski crystal squared detailing rimmed around the edge. According to the company, you can wear these all day as they have special padding inside to stop the shoe from hurting.

However, we did warn you they don't come cheap. These bridal beauties cost £550.

If you want to really stand out on your day then you'll love these pearl descant snake-skin wedding shoes with a Swarovski strip at the back and embellished with a crystal bow. These are handmade one at a time so you will be extra special on your day. They cost £725.

Brides that want elegant flat shoes on their day, will love the perfect wedding ballerinas touched with diamante butterfly , which cost £325.00. Better get saving then.

You may have found your perfect match groom wise but if you've been looking for wedding shoes and a bag in exactly the same shade then we understand your pain.

Who would have thought there would be so many different shades of ivory, white, reds and pinks?

Rainbow colour match service.JPGThankfully the Rainbow club has come to the rescue. Its Colour Studio offers a hand colouring service guaranteed to match day or evening light.

The stress saving service is available on three of the Rainbow collections, designed by shoe genius Diane Hassall.

These include Else, which offers fun and flirty shoes, the Rainbow Club, featuring fashionable shoes and bags for special occasions, and Rainbow Couture, for the bride who craves catwalk style.

Alexandra Bridal shoes by Freya Rose

alex_wedding_shoes1.jpgWhen you're choosing your wedding outfit, a lot of people can get caught up on just the dress, but let's not forget shoes! Possibly the only time in your life you can get away with wearing white satin heels.

These gorgeous 'Alexandra' bridal shoes from Freya Rose are actually Ivory Silk (that's almost white satin) and are £295. The high back is really unusual and would look great shown of with one of the short gowns that are so fashionable right now. The shoes have a Mary-Jane style strap fastened with fresh water and silver pearl buttons.

christian_louboutin_petal_sandals.jpgI've been dimly aware for a while now that a number of sites based in the Far East are producing fake knock-offs of designer shoes, in particular the distinctive and hugely popular Louboutin styles.

But the trend seems to be reaching fever pitch this week, with many well-meaning customers reporting disappointment with sites they thought were the real deal. Thanks to a reader, we've managed to take down one fake supplier, Louboutinsatin.com from our own list of advertisers today, but I admit it's easy to be fooled and their ways are cunning...

so what can you do to avoid being duped in this crime against shoe-manity? Read on for our advice...

georgina-goodman-lace.jpg
I couldn't believe my luck when I spotted my current favourite style by Georgina Goodman in the '60%' off section over at My-Wardrobeearlier today. Ladies, I think the word is 'squeeee!'

Goodman's designs have the trend for elegant and perfectly shapely shoes down to a fine art, and as if that style alchemy wasn't enough in itself, she's added a beautiful lace overlay here that's perfect for a wedding look with (my favourite detail of all) stripey soles! The shoes are now £120, which makes them a great choice for a special occasion or treat shoe. Pick up a pair here. The slightly more out-there 'Agatha' style is also on sale...

size-2-shoes.jpgFeet are funny things. I know loads of people whose shoe sizes fall outside the standard range, and even within it you're likely to have problems: my own feet are a 'petite' size four but are so wide that I'm limited to a very restricted selection of styles and most people I know who take a half size are seldom happy with the fit of their footwear. And I can't think of any worse occasion than one's wedding day to be stuck with ill-fitting shoes...

But setting aside the gripes we all have with our feet, let's think for a moment of those who really can't just go into a shop and buy a pair that'll pretty much fit. The size two and size ten ladies who are sized out of the joy of shoe-purchases. Unthinkable isn't it? But fortunately there are a few designers out there determined to ensure that they can get hold of a decent pair of wedding shoes.

lace-wedding-shoes.jpgI love these elegant lace-pattern court shoes by Karen Millen in their own right, but it struck me that they'd be perfect companions to the crop of black lace overlay-style wedding dresses that are popular at the moment. Seen up close, the detailing on these shoes (particularly on the bow) is incredible - they'd be shoes to wear long after the big day!

roses-shoes.jpgRoses are in full bloom on the catwalk this season, and even more of a feature in bridalwear. Whether or not you want floral motifs on your dress, the look can be set of beautifully with a rose ornament on your feet, and there's a huge choice of styles out there at the moment that would work well for brides, guests and bridesmaids alike.

My favourites are the monochrome designs with juicy, plump flowers made from plastic or perspex; perfect for giving an outfit a touch of modish class. Karen Millen (top right) have the look spot on, with a slimlined shoe shape that contrast beautifully with the giant bloom. At £135 it isn't the cheapest of the selection, but it's certainly the most striking.
